Are you ready for the Second American Revolution?

I like to be sure my readers are informed. So, if you see this flag flying, be sure to inform the people around you that this is the flag of the Second American Revolution. Consider yourselves informed!

Have you gone flipp'n crazy???

Crazy? If by "crazy" you mean "finally gotten fed up with the Federal government, regardless of political party, wiping their lazy arses on our Constitution," then yeah. I guess I have.

Dawn,

hmm .... timing is everything. Why weren't you this outraged when "W" was wiping his arse with our Constitution.

The timing of the outrage is ... suspicious.

Oh, and does your flag mean you want to sucede from the Union because you don't want to be part of the 50 State Unioin?

If you spent any time on this blog, Anonymous, you'd know that I was outraged at the new UNCONSTITUTIONAL entitlements and spending that happened under W's administration. I suppose you're new to my little corner of the world so I'll let that slide.

If by "suspicious" you mean that you believe that my outrage at the complete disregard for our Constitution should have happened earlier, you're right. I wouldn't call it suspicious that I've finally had enough; I'd call it about time!

I didn't create that flag but I certainly appreciate you giving me credit for it anyway. No, the Second Revolution is not about seceding from the union. That's an outdated idea. This revolution is about keeping this country intact according to our Constitution. It's about ensuring that we are not overrun by tyrants and thugs. This revolution is about taking our country back from the misguided socialist Liberals and Chicago thugs who have tossed the Constitution aside in favor of bullying and tyranny.

Man up and join us...

"Chicago thugs." There you have it. The root of the outrage. ACORN, thugs, Marxists, czars . . .the new code words expressing their outrage over the results of the last election. Dawn masks her rage with a narrow view of the constitution, soiling the genius of the document as she defiles our beautiful flag, the same one that covered my father's coffin. Dawn wants another civil war over state's rights. Enough blood wasn't shed in the last one. The people who rally her to her cause are very powerful, pulling her strings in subtle ways so that even her sharp mind believes these things are "grass root" movements. The megaphones are going full blast. It seems they're not going to be happy until blood is shed.

"Those who betray or subvert the Constitution are guilty of sedition and/or treason, are domestic enemies and should and will be punished accordingly.

It also stands to reason that anyone who sympathizes with the enemy or gives aid or comfort to said enemy is likewise guilty. I have sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic and I will. And I will because not only did I swear to, but I believe in what it stands for in every bit of my heart, soul and being.

I know in my heart that I am right in my struggle, Steve. I have come to peace with myself, my God and my cause. Blood will flow in the streets, Steve. Good vs. Evil. Free Men vs. Socialist Wannabe Slaves. Pray it is not your blood, my friend." -Timothy McVeigh (a farewell letter to his boyhood friend Steve Hodge)

HAVE YOU GONE FLIPP'N CRAZY?!?!?

Let me see if I've got this right, Anonymous and Orion... you quote MediaMatters.org and Timothy McVeigh and ask me if *I'VE* gone "flipp'n crazy?!" I think you need a mirror.

Quotes from a murderous lunatic and a wrong-headed description of Tea Party patriots from a Leftwing propaganda outlet are out of place in response to my post about the Second American Revoluiton. Those kinds of comments are clearly indicative of the level to which Liberals in this country are out of touch with average, freedom-loving Americans.

This revolution needs no "blood in the streets" or "civil wars." It is one of massive public and private protests, millions of calls to Senators and Congressmen, loudly voiced disagreement at townhall after townhall, and (pardon the pun...) the liberal use of First Amendment rights. We are "fighting" to set this country back on solid Constitutional ground.

Granted, there are those who are advocating taking up arms against the usurpation of this Representative Republic by, of, and for The People by the Leftist-controlled branches of the current Federal government. I am not one of them. Many of the those you are worried about are actually Conservative DEMOCRATS. (Oh, and I suppose you've condemed bomber Bill Ayers among your circle of Lib friends too, right?)

One of many missions in this "revolution" is to educate every American about what the Federal government is actually authorized to do and what it is not. It's another mission to help peacefully remove EVERY member of Congress who doesn't get with the program. That includes Republicans.

You really ought to invest a little time in getting to know we average Americans who are Constitutionalists. You may not like the arguments you hear from us with regard to the 10th Amendment but you'll like hearing all about the 14th Amendment and how it's meant to protect people from abusive State government actions.

As Americans, you owe it to those whose coffins were covered by the American flag (Anonymous) to understand WHAT THEY CREATED, WHAT THEY PROTECTED, AND WHAT THEY DIED DEFENDING.

Don't ask me if I'm crazy. It's clear that I am not. Instead, ask me if I'm proud to be an American. Ask me if I love liberty. Ask me if I care about the quality of life that will be had by future generations of Americans. Yes, yes, and yes.

Ask yourselves if you are willing to sit idly by, never questioning your own smugness, while this leviathan government slowly pulls the rug out from underneath *you* The People. When you wake up in this once-great country wondering how it became a banana republic, I hope your silly Leftwing propaganda, name-calling, and nutjob quotes will be of some comfort.

Another Nutjob Quote (lol!):

"Ask yourselves if you are willing to sit idly by, never questioning your own smugness, while this leviathan government slowly pulls the rug out from underneath *you* The People. "I believe we are slowly turning into a socialist government. The government is continually growing bigger and more powerful and the people need to prepare to defend themselves against government control." -Timothy McVeigh (1993)

btw: Dawn, I didn't call you crazy; I merely asked if you were.

Friday Night with Hugh and Friends

The consummate Conservative host, Hugh Hewitt, and yours truly! Shameless of me to post this, I know; however, I'm too jazzed to care. :-p What a wonderful way to spend a Friday night! After an hour or so wandering through some of the exhibits at the Frazier Historical Arms Museum, I then got to spend three hours with Hugh Hewitt and 599 other fans of his show. I absolutely MUST say that not only was Hugh wonderful and the live show very entertaining, but his fans are absolutely the nicest people! I've seen other radio talk show s done live and mingled with fans of those shows. Hugh Hewitt's fans are the nicest, most down to earth, friendly people I've ever met. It's quite a credit to Hugh that he draws such a fan base. If you haven't been to the Frazier Historical Arms Museum here in Louisville, it's a must-see. The museum shows an amazing artistry with the exhibits and places them in the context of the times in a very entertaining and educationa

As the Blog Turns...

Gee. I have found myself fascinated by the soap opera unfolding in the comments section of this blog since last night. One little mention on a controversial Democrat's blog and it's High Noon on ConservaChick! (Yes, I'm laughing while I type this.) For those of you who have no idea what's happening in the ever-expanding comments section , join the club! Here's what I know about Mark Nickolas from bits and pieces I've read on his blog, and from a local news report: Nickolas likes to sneer at Republicans and call them snide little nicknames as he provides his "Unfiltered and Candid Look at Politics, Politicians and the Media in Kentucky;" he raised a ruckus within the Democrat party here in Kentucky by filing a suit against the chairman of the party , Jerry Lundergan; and he will be appearing on the same panel with yours truly on Thursday night. That's about it. You now have the benefit of my not-so-extensive knowledge on this subject. Nickolas poste
