Call me a racist If you must but...

... I wouldn't vote for a militant biggot regardless of the color of that bigot's skin. To which bigot am I referring? He speaks for himself in quotes directly from his own book Dreams of My Father . See if you recognize the same "hopeful" Barack Hussein Obama who wants "change" in America. "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites." "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race." "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white." "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names." "I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I

CORRECTION: Manhattan (not Louisville) Owes Marcus Luttrell an Apology

Marcus Luttrell is not only a great American patriot, he is also the author of Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10 . He honors the memory of his fellow SEALs who lost their lives in Operation Redwing as well as all of our brave men and women in uniform every time he speaks in public. Marcus spoke at the National Rifle Association's Annual Meeting and Exhibits that was held here in Louisville May 16th-20th. He gave a stirring speech on May 16th which you can see , in full, at the Second Amendment Blog Bash site . As if combat with our enemies abroad weren't enough of an ordeal, Marcus found himself in "combat" the night before his trip to Louisville with some nitwit Liberal in Manhattan. He tells a story about some idiot Liberal who could not seem to leave Marcus alone with his beer in a hotel bar. This story absolutely set my teeth on edge when I saw it in this video. (I would embed the video here if I could

Happy Armed Forces Day!

Happy Armed Forces Day! (...I know it was yesterday. My apologies for the belated acknowledgement.) Everyday ought to be Armed Forces Day when we ask so much of America's patriots... minimal pay for the risks they must take, the emotional stress and strain they and their families endure, and being available on a moment's notice 24x7 (no overtime for these folks)... especially now when we are at war against Islamofacism. I don't care how tough you think your job is, its a cakewalk compared to what these patriots do. Next time you gripe about the arse-chewing you just got from your boss over a late project, remember that, for men and women in our Armed Forces, a bad day could be so much worse than that; their arse-chewing could have come from an IED or sniper fire. Patriots of the United States Armed Forces, thank you for all you do, all you sacrifice for our country, and all you are. You make this civilian very, very proud to be an American.

Ready on Day One. A fairy tale just for you!

Once upon a time, there was a Democratic convention that was too close to call. Neither Democratic presidential candidate had enough votes to win the nomination. Therefore, it was decided that there would be an ice-fishing contest between the two candidates to determine the final winner. There was much talk about swing states and super-delegates, but a week long ice-fishing competition seemed like just the (Democratic) way to settle things. The candidate that caught the most fish at the end of the week would win. It was decided that the contest would take place on a remote and icy lake in North Dakota where there were to be no observers present. Both candidates were to be sent out separately on this remote lake and return daily with their catch for counting and verification. At the end of the first day, Barack Obama returned to the starting line with ten fish. Soon, Hillary Clinton returned and had zero fish. Everyone assumed she was just having another bad hair day or something and sh

Empowered

With the NRA bringing their annual meeting and exhibition to Louisville this week, now seems like a real good time to applaud Donna Dedas of Bullitt County, Kentucky. It's my opinion that she epitomizes the importance of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. [...] " As soon as they hit the mud, they were going nowhere. They got out of the vehicle and I told them get down on the ground ," said the mother of two. " I had 911 in one hand and I had the gun in the other. " [...] Read the full story , with video, at WAVE 3 TV's website. Not only did she take action, she so shocked the burglars that they evidently forgot that they had a .357 in their truck. Ahhh... what a nice surprise for scumbags!! Phone in one hand, gun in the other, and two crooks now in jail. Nice work, Donna! Just a thought... maybe they ought to rename the Second Amendment the "Citizen Empowerment" Amendment. See you all at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits this weeke

Free Speech: It's Not Just for Pacifists Anymore

This is at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia recently. It seems that someone decided to exercise his constitutional right to free speech... and then someone else exercised HIS right to free speech. (Click to enlarge the picture.)

Viva Liagra!

How does Hillary do it? I mean, day after day after day on the campaign trail, how does she keep it up?... (Click on the picture below to enlarge it for the full effect.)

Vote for your Five Favorite Intellectuals

Foreign Policy Magazine , one of my favorite reads, is collecting votes (from non-subscribers as well as subscribers) for the Top Public Intellectual . Voters may choose from 100 listed intellectuals and/or write in their favorites. The list of 100 intellectuals varies from environmentalists and religious leaders -- Yeah, I know... they're pretty much the same thing, aren't they? -- to political scientists and economists. They are quite an interesting and varied bunch. I voted for four of my favorites from their list. It was my sincere pleasure to make my fifth vote a write-in for Noble Peace Prize nominee, Rush Limbaugh . It goes unnoticed all too often how Rush has shaped modern political debate and brought Conservative ideology back to life in all its original glory. It's time he was noted for his intellect as well as his wit. All too often the term "intellectual" is applied only to Liberals. I encourage all of my Conservative friends to take some time out of y

Support Your Candidate!

There are less than eight months until the election, an election that will decide the next President of the United States. The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each other our support for the candidate of our choice. It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike. If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive with your headlights on during the day. If you support Obama or Hillary, please drive with your headlights off at night. [Thanks for sharing, Mark!]
