Thank you for your service!

To all of you who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, thank you (and your families) for your service. I am grateful for your courage and sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day! Dad, I'm ever proud of you and of Mom for all you both sacrificed during your career in the Army! Thank you both for modeling a fine set of principles for us.

NY-23: Good luck, Doug Hoffman!

At the risk of beating a dead horse, good riddance to RINO Scozzafava and good luck to the only Conservative in the race tomorrow. We "teabaggers" are watching; let's hope the GOP gets the message tomorrow -- win or lose, the American Conservative Party's candidate, Doug Hoffman , has helped Conservatives make a statement. The GOP can get it or get it out of our way... this revolution will be flippin' candidates like a loose Las Vegas slot machine every election until we get this country back to Constitutional governance. I am deeply disappointed by Newt Gingrich's endorsement of Scozzafava in the NY-23 race. I know he's stepped back away from it now but... Seriously, Newt, did you think that Republicans would remain loyal to a party that has run amok that has failed its roots? You have sorely misjudged the true Conservative base in this country and you owe us a silent exit stage left. We are absolutely sick and tired of the Washington Establishment, Poli...

Not Evil Just Wrong

October 18, 2009 -- Mark your calendars for a new type of Tea Party to debut " Not Evil Just Wrong " in homes across the fruited plain! In an email broadcast I received today from Americans for Prosperity : Two courageous Irish film-makers, Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, have spent 3 years and over $1 million creating a power-packed, entertaining documentary called "Not Evil, Just Wrong" that details the real consequences of draconian global warming "solutions" – both here in the United States and across the world. Americans for Prosperity is partnering with Ann and Phelim on a massive grassroots effort to turn the tables on our opponents. On October 18, our coalition will hold the largest premiere of any documentary in American history. Our goal is simple: on October 18 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time literally tens-of-thousands of grassroots Americans like you and me will hold viewings of their film - Not Evil, Just Wrong - in homes, at local community event...

FYI...

...still working on getting our pics from the 9/12 March on DC into a movie suitable for YouTube and the blog. You'll be the first to know when it's done.

T-Shirts for Patriots

When ConservaDude and I were at the Louisville Tea Party on 9/5/09, we met a couple from St. Louis, Missouri who were selling some cool t-shirts. My hubby is now the proud owner of a "Band of Patriots" shirt and I'll be calling soon to order my "Cap'n Trade" tee! I thought I should share these with you in case you're in the market for a clever t-shirt. [In case it's not clear enough to read on your monitor, the text below the picture reads, "Piracy...It's not just on the high seas anymore"] [I think this one speaks quite clearly for itself!] The t-shirts are $15.00 each. If you like what you see, you can email inquiries to them freedomladies@gmail.com or call Eileen at 636-812-2161 to order. In case you need another good reason to buy from them, they are awaiting their non-profit status as the "Freed Ladies." When that is official, proceeds from these sales will then be sent to the USO.

Louisville Tea Party -- Sept. 5, 2009

The September 5th Tea Party in Louisville is now history. It may one day be noted in history books -- at least as long as Conservatives continue to write books, it just might be -- so I think it's important to post a few words and a lot of pictures from the Tea Party in Louisville on September 9, 2009. The Tea Party Express made a stop in Louisville on its way from Sacramento, CA to Washington, DC to rally the patriots here. While the rally speakers and the Tea Party Express show were all fun and motivational, the TRUE show was to be found wandering the crowd. The local fishwrap did a write-up of the event and estimated the crowd at 3,000 people. Those thousands came prepared to express themselves and we caught most of it in pictures. Note the variety of signs you see in the pictures that follow. I've often said that trying to organize Conservatives for a protest is like herding cats. We are all very independent. Every one of us has a different issue as it pertains to the cur...
