Lo and behold, the C-J decides not to cover us at all and the LEO does! Go figure... Due to the use of a frameset or some other nonsense, I can't link you directly to it. Check it out by clicking on the Features section. It's the second feature article on the list. They were even brave enough to quote our Chapter Leader and to photograph some of our signs! Wooohooo!
Help us make it known to Comrade Obama and his goons on Capitol Hill that July 4th is INdependence Day , not COdependence day! Louisville's patriots are throwing a TEA Party on Saturday, July 4th in Jefferson Square (6th and Jefferson) from 11am - 2pm. Hope to see you there!!

It wasn't front page or anything, but you led off a small side story in the print edition Friday. I know because I looked for you! What? Is it not available online? Was it another counter-counter-inagural? Good thing I'm a procrastinator or else my copy would've been picked up by Operation Brightside by now. Let me go see if I can dig it out of the recycling bin.
It was in the bottom left corner of an inside, double page spread of the inauguration, the day after the event (last Friday.) Wait, I'll go find it...
"Protesters assail Bush policies during Louisville march, rally" Friday Jan 21, A1, page 6, bottom left.
By Jessie Halladay

"During the march and rally, about a dozen Bush supporters stood across the street from about 200 counter-inauguration participants.
They held signs showing their support and yelled through a megaphone at rally participants.
John Fegenbush, 46, said it is important to show their support for Bush.
'We want to let our people know, the real Americans, that their voice is not the only voice.' said Fegenbush as he gestured across Jefferson Street to the counter-inauguration."

Was this PW? Sounded like it...
You're right that it's not available online. I searched for keywords, headline, date, author of the piece, names mentioned, and all of them came up zilch.
After what you said at the restaraunt this afternoon about Fegenbush, about how extreme he can be, I started to think back to ten years or so to the last time I was actively listening to Louisville's political controversies... alas, when I was on the other side (I've since come to my senses:)
Is he the famous DR. FEGENBUSH!!?? The rabid anti-abortion activist who made a name for himself in the mid 90's with assinine comments quoted in the LEO? I REMEMBER THAT GUY!!! Oh, man, how we did revile that guy. He was distributing VHS tapes to liberal east-enders prophesying doom and gloom as a result of their evil ways. "Man, what a DUNCE," we thought. "The right wing should have more spokesmen like this one. He invalidates his own position with such over-the-top rhetoric!"
It's only now (hours later) that I realize the full implications of your fears. Whew! What a relief that the C-J quoted such a tame line. Still, I can't help but think that the C-J reporter recognized Fegenbush and singled him out knowing that her readership would know the name and make the connection on their own. Ya, know?
Wow. Iv'e been away from home too long.
