I received these updates from the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation (VVLF) today and wanted to share this news:
VVLF On The Air -- Thursday, November 3rd at 11:00 am Eastern, leaders of the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation, including Medal of Honor recipient Bud Day, his fellow POWs Ken Cordier, Paul Galanti, Jim Warner, and Kevin McManus, and Mary Jane McManus will appear on the G. Gordon Liddy Show. Topics will include the lawsuits filed against the VVLF by surrogates of John Kerry, a conspiracy and defamation lawsuit the VVLF itself recently filed against John Kerry in federal court, and the organization’s ongoing efforts to set the record straight about the Vietnam War. During the program, excerpts from the POW documentary, "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal," and from Kerry's infamous “war crimes” testimony before the Senate in 1971 will be played. Listen live online here.
Tell Your Story – The VVLF is collecting accounts from Vietnam veterans about their service during the Vietnam War and what they experienced when they returned home. If you served at the same time and place as any of those who claimed to have seen and participated in war crimes during the “Winter Soldier Investigation” in 1971, here's an opportunity to provide your version of those events. Your account should be fairly short (2 or 3 pages at most) and you should be prepared to document your service on request. We will make these accounts available to the public on our web site at VietnamLegacy.org. Please send your story to vets@vvlf.org.
Lawsuits – The case materials for the lawsuits against the VVLF and Carlton Sherwood by former members of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War have been posted on the VVLF website along with case materials for the new lawsuit filed against John Kerry. Read more here.
