As some of you are probably aware, I support the Fair Tax tax reform proposal. A rally was held in Atlanta, Georgia that drew thousands and was covered by a local television station. The only inaccuracy I heard in the report was that the Fair Tax is a sales tax on all goods. That's not true: the Fair Tax is a sales tax on all new goods; once the tax has been paid on a new item, it is no longer taxable.
