Nimrod Raphaeli who is a Senior Analyst of MEMRI's Middle East Economic Studies Program reminds us that there is another face to Iraq, one that we rarely witness in our mainstream media.
Because his website and other publications are in Arabic, many of us would never get a chance to see/read what he writes. Thanks to his work with MEMRI, we get a glimpse of "The Other Face of Iraq." The piece contains pictures of Iraqis who continue living as normal a life as possible amid the war and who continue to find beauty in their studies and their arts. It is uplifting.
