Talk Show/Fair Tax Author, Neal Boortz, joins GOOOH

TALK SHOW HOST NEAL BOORTZ JOINS GOOOH

[...]

"The GOOOH movement seeks to unite Tea Party, conservative, moderate and liberal groups to replace all 435 members of the House of Representatives by selecting citizen candidates independent of special interest money and two-party politics. Many Americans resent the strongarm tactics employed recently to push a Healthcare Bill through the Congress, despite polls showing a majority of Americans do not want the legislation in its current form. Recently, the Abigail Adams Project and Fair Tax Nation have decided to work together with GOOOH to restore representation to the House.

GOOOH get 'em, Neal!

If seeking to unite us, Neal Boortz is a bad place to start. He's another poster child for right wing hate, bigotry and sexism. With your first post about GOOOH, I was, for the first time in a long time, hopeful that maybe we could find some common ground. But embracing Boortz? That tears it for me. You guys are just trying to re-brand your nuttiness. For those who haven't listened, here are a few samples:

Boortz complains that "female lawyers" act victimized and are "hideously difficult to deal with"

Boortz welfare rant -- "human parasitic garbage lining up to get their applications to loot”

Boortz again describes New Orleans residents as "parasites”

Boortz on Idol winner: "[T]he more manly looking of the two won;" runner-up "looks like a flamer"

Boortz on Pelosi: "[H]ow fun it is to watch that hag out there twisting in the wind"

Boortz on swine flu: "What better way to sneak a virus into this country than to give it to Mexicans?"

Boortz: Rep. Waters is an "idiot" who "should be cleaning restrooms"

Boortz: "[D]amage Obama and the Dems are doing will surpass" 9-11 terrorist attacks”

Oh, and FYI, many of we lefties are abandoning people like Keith Olbermann in droves. We are starting to see him has the left's Sean Hannity. But it looks like you guys are going to hang on to your divisive media darlings to the bitter end.

I'm not seeking to "unite" anyone, Anonymous. I'm seeking a solution that makes sense to me. I like the Fair Tax idea and I love the GOOOH plan for cleaning House.

If you choose to disagree with a terrific idea simply because you don't like some of the other people who see the genius behind it, then that's not an issue with which I (or anyone else, for that matter) can help you.

Please refrain from using labels like "you guys" when referring to me. Unlike the "collective" Sheeple, I am an individual.

I didn't say you were seeking to unite anyone, I was taking off on the first line of of the article you posted.

I don't think this is a "genius" idea at all and I don't seek your help. I hold to my point that Boortz is a volatile, divisive figure. Cheering him on makes no sense to me and I'm troubled by it.

Look, if you'd rather I not challenge you on your posts then I'll go away. It's your site. If you want it to just be a rallying place for like minded people, I'll respect that and quit commenting.

Friday Night with Hugh and Friends

The consummate Conservative host, Hugh Hewitt, and yours truly! Shameless of me to post this, I know; however, I'm too jazzed to care. :-p What a wonderful way to spend a Friday night! After an hour or so wandering through some of the exhibits at the Frazier Historical Arms Museum, I then got to spend three hours with Hugh Hewitt and 599 other fans of his show. I absolutely MUST say that not only was Hugh wonderful and the live show very entertaining, but his fans are absolutely the nicest people! I've seen other radio talk show s done live and mingled with fans of those shows. Hugh Hewitt's fans are the nicest, most down to earth, friendly people I've ever met. It's quite a credit to Hugh that he draws such a fan base. If you haven't been to the Frazier Historical Arms Museum here in Louisville, it's a must-see. The museum shows an amazing artistry with the exhibits and places them in the context of the times in a very entertaining and educationa

As the Blog Turns...

Gee. I have found myself fascinated by the soap opera unfolding in the comments section of this blog since last night. One little mention on a controversial Democrat's blog and it's High Noon on ConservaChick! (Yes, I'm laughing while I type this.) For those of you who have no idea what's happening in the ever-expanding comments section , join the club! Here's what I know about Mark Nickolas from bits and pieces I've read on his blog, and from a local news report: Nickolas likes to sneer at Republicans and call them snide little nicknames as he provides his "Unfiltered and Candid Look at Politics, Politicians and the Media in Kentucky;" he raised a ruckus within the Democrat party here in Kentucky by filing a suit against the chairman of the party , Jerry Lundergan; and he will be appearing on the same panel with yours truly on Thursday night. That's about it. You now have the benefit of my not-so-extensive knowledge on this subject. Nickolas poste
