The more things change...

..the more they stay the same. From today's edition of "Daily Events:"

July 23, 1764

"Taxation Without Representation" coined

On this day in 1764, Massachusetts lawyer James Otis, Jr. published his thoughts on taxation, coining the phrase "taxation without representation."

I know liberals will find this confusing. How can that ConservaChick person claim to be taxed without being represented?! I guess it's an inside joke among us Conservatives, huh? Unfortunately, the joke will be on our kids and generations more to come courtesy of our current Political Ruling Class.
